Do any of your properties have a pool?
Yes — four of our lodges have heated indoor pools: Black Eagle Lodge (with a water slide and a separate kiddie pool), Majestic Oaks Lodge, The Western Lodge, and Southern Belle Lodge. You must be at least 25 to book a pool lodge.
Which cabins and lodges are pet-friendly?
Double Pine Lodge, Southern Belle Lodge, and Whispering Pine Cabin are pet-friendly. There's a 2-pet maximum and a $50 non-refundable pet fee per pet; pets must be kept off the furniture and cleaned up after. All our other properties are pet-free.
Do the cabins and lodges have hot tubs?
Most of our cabins and lodges have a private hot tub, and several of the larger lodges have more than one. Check each property's page for its exact amenities.
Do you have wheelchair-accessible options?
Our properties sit in a wooded, hilly setting, so terrain and steps vary from cabin to cabin. Some of our larger lodges offer main-level bedrooms and baths that may suit guests with mobility needs. Which lodges are best for large groups and reunions?
Our biggest are Majestic Oaks Lodge (sleeps 39), The Western Lodge (30), and Black Eagle Lodge (22), plus Timber Ridge (20), Southern Belle (20), and Double Pine (16). They're built for reunions, retreats, and celebrations.
Do you have romantic cabins for couples?
Yes — several cabins are perfect for couples: Soaring Eagle Luxury Treehouse, Whispering Pine, Destiny's Daydream, and Grant's Escape sleep two, while Leaning Tree and Hunter's Retreat sleep four for couples or small families.
Is WiFi available?
Most of our properties offer free WiFi, and some — like Hunter's Retreat — have high-speed Starlink. That said, cell, internet, and landline service isn't guaranteed at every property, since we're tucked into the woods.
Booking & Check-In
How do I check availability and book?
You can check availability and book online any time, or call us at 740-385-1092.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 3:00 p.m. at our cabins and 4:00 p.m. at our lodges. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. for both. These times are firm — checking in late may result in being billed for an extra night.
How old do I have to be to book?
You must be at least 21 to book the non-pool cabins and lodges, and at least 25 to book a pool lodge (Black Eagle, Majestic Oaks, The Western, or Southern Belle).
Is a damage deposit required?
Some reservations require a damage deposit, which is pre-authorized to the card on file per the schedule in your confirmation email. A pre-authorization isn't a charge — after your stay it's either charged or released, depending on any damages. See our policies & booking terms.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are shown at the time of booking and set out in your Booking Confirmation. At booking we offer optional "Cancel For Any Reason" travelers insurance; if you opt out, our normal policy applies. Full details are in our booking terms.
House Rules & Good to Know
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No — smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all of our cabins and lodges. Any evidence of smoking or vaping inside results in a minimum $300 fee.
Can I bring extra guests, or can visitors stop by?
Only the number of guests paid for are allowed on the property — extra people are a minimum $40 fee per person. Outside visitors aren't allowed unless previously arranged by email and paid for.
Are parties allowed?
Our properties were designed for peace and quiet. No loud parties or loud music, and quiet hours run 10:30 p.m.–8 a.m. College and prom parties are not welcome at any of our properties.
Do I need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle?
A 4WD vehicle is recommended in the winter months due to the hilly terrain and gravel drives. We don't recommend arriving by motorcycle, low-rider vehicle, or sprinter van without prior emailed permission.
What should I bring?
We provide linens, towels, kitchenware, and a starter supply of paper goods and soap. Bring charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill, plus any extra paper goods you may want.
